Q1: Lets begin with your brief background and what lead you to start your current job.
After my mischievous school years, I've packed my bag and moved to Vancouver.
I first attended an ESL class and then switched to couple different technical colleges until I found the "last" one.
This one class they have which teaches you how to create sounds using Macintosh strongly attracts me and that is only reason why I have decided to enter this school.
It has turned out that it was the school for website production and which dragged me, who didn't even know how to use e-mail at the time, into this world of internet.
Things went very smooth since then, even for the job hunting. At the Vancouver based design agency, Cowie&Fox, I was able to obtain a position and gained wonderful experiences working with exceptionally talented work-mates which lasted for about 3 and half years.
On the other hand, Shin and I have launched the website "9zaku" as we graduate from the school. It was intended, at the beginning, to be our portfolio site using Flash. But as we develop the idea of creating the intercommunicating space between Japan and Canada,we have decided to shift our concept and launched "9zakuMS".
Q2: Tell us about your recent activities.
"9zaku Mobilesuits" site is still on the web and the stance does not change since the beginning.
Shin does the back-end and I do the design and management. We both belong to different companies at this time, but we will be start working as an unit from this October.
Q3：Who have influenced you the most or who do you respect?

Q4： How many hours a day do you spend in front of your computer?
Counting hours of not being there should be faster.
Q5：Which one do you like better, Motion Tween or Shape Tween?
Both. Straight forward "Motion" and unpredictable "Shape" are both my favorite.
Q6. What is your best song to boost up your moods?
It depends because I pretty much listen to everything.
Sometimes I like listening to heavy-metal to rock'n roll but I also like to listen to classic music to raise my mood.
Q7：What are the 3 things you have to have in your book bag everyday?
An eye drop, iPodmini, and a pen. I don't like carrying to many things with me.
Q8： If you did not end up being involved in the web businesses, what do you think you would be.
A piano teacher. It is not a joke.
Q9：If you can move abroad today, where would that be and why?
Spain. My boss from Vancouver always talked about it.
Q10：Tell us about your secret specialty.
Pen spinning.
Q11: For the last question, what do you have planned in near future and what you want to do.
Shin and I have been talking about producing an event as 9zaku since we are both back together in Japan finally.
I would also love to do more collaborative project like this 8 project.
As for my personal activity, a programmer + a designer + myself will get together as an design unit to make something very cool happen.

Q1：簡単なバックグラウンド、今の仕事をはじめたきっかけなどを教えてください。
ヤンチャな学生時代を経て1996年の9月にバンクーバーへ。ESLに通いその後専門学校を転々とする。最後の専門学校選びであちこちを授業見学。たまたま行った学校がMacを使ってサウンドを作り出す授業でそれだけに惹かれて入学。蓋をあければweb制作の専門学校だった。それまでメールすら知らなかったのだが、そこでこの世界に引き込まれる。
就職活動でなぜかすんなり就職でき、cowie&foxへ。少数精鋭の素晴らしいワークメートに囲まれ、3年半ほど在籍。また、卒業と同時にシンと9zakuを立ち上げる。最初はFlashを使ったポートフォリオサイトだったんだけど、日本とカナダとでもっと交流の場を作りたいと相談しポータルサイト9zakuMSを立ち上げる。
Q2：現在の主な活動内容について教えてください。
9zaku Mobilesuitsを今も制作・管理してます。2人で企画やアイデアを出し、バックエンドをしんが、デザインや管理などを僕がというスタンスはずっと変わってません。現在は会社に属してますが、10月からユニットという形で活動していく予定です。

どっちも。ストレートなモーションも、予想不可なシェイプも好きです。

ノージャンルで何でも聞くので、その時によって違います。ヘビメタで高める時もあれば、クラシックだったりもします。

9zakuでイベントをやりたいと思ってます。今まで2人とも海外だったので、ようやく帰国して揃ったのでなにかやりたいなと相談中です。今回のプロジェクトみたいに、色々な人と絡むようなこともやりたいですね。
個人としては、これからユニットとしてデザイナーとプログラマーと3人でいろいろやっていこうと思ってます。

Tarout (Q1: Lets begin with your brief background and what lead you to start your current job.
Being a college student with the economics major, I had tons of time to spare.
My first encounter with the world wide web occurred when I purchased a computer to learn Word and Excel.
As soon as I launched the website "TAROUT!", a life-changing experience of meeting Flash 2 really did changed my life and this amazing software fascinates me long since then.
The company which I was enrolled as a new graduate didn't suit my expectation that I changed my job to a graphic design firm soon after.
On the interview, I was asked to bring my portfolio but there wasn't any. So I went there with my sketchbook filled with scribbles but able to pass it for some very fortunate reasons. I originally wanted to become an editorial designer but my halfway technique of Flash caused me to become a person in charge for the web, that after three years of working I shift my work to freelance base.
Don't know if you can call this a background, but far back in my history, I attended a drawing class.
Though only thing that I still have today from this class is a memory of a beetle which teacher gave me and a worn-out paintbox.
Q2: Tell us about your recent activities.
Making Flash sites, and drawing illustrations and characters.
Q3：Who have influenced you the most or who do you respect?
There are many, but my bosses from the design firm I have worked before were all really wonderful.I was inspired by them and able to receive a great influence.
Q4： How many hours a day do you spend in front of your computer?
About 15 hours. Have to admit that I am pretty addicted.
Q5：Which one do you like better, Motion Tween or Shape Tween?
I frequently use both so I cannot say which. However, the moodniess of the shapetween makes me feel uneasy sometimes.
Q6. What is your best song to boost up your moods?
For past two weeks of the end of my nothing-heppned summer, I am feeling it listening to RIP SLYME.
Q7：What are the 3 things you have to have in your book bag everyday?
Freshness of attitude, dream and kindness. ( am I being to cocky here?)
Q8： If you did not end up being involved in the web businesses, what do you think you would be.
Editorial design, hopefully.
Q9：If you can move abroad today, where would that be and why?
London. I probably lived there on my previous life.

I can do mimicry of Umechin of Yonsca.

Q1：簡単なバックグラウンド、今の仕事をはじめたきっかけなどを教えてください。
学生時代は、ひまを持て余す経済学部で、ワードとエクセルを学ぶためにPCを購入し、はじめてwebに触れました。TAROUT!というホームページを立ち上げて間もなく、Flash2と衝撃的な出会いをし、以後Flashの魅力に取り付かれていきました。英語版だったので、辞書を左手で引きながら、どっぷりとはまっていきました。
新卒で入った会社になじめず、すぐにグラフィックデザイン事務所に転職しました。面接では作品を持ってくるようにいわれましたが、私にはそんなものはなく、日々書きためていたラクガキ帳を持っていきました。それでも運良く受かりました。
もともとエディトリアルデザインを志願していたのですが、中途半端にFlashが使えてしまったがために、徐々にweb担当になっていき、3年ほど勤務した後、そのままフリーランスとなりました。そして現在に至ります。
その他、バックグラウンドになっているかは分かりませんが、幼い頃に絵画教室に通っていたようです。でも先生からカブトムシをもらった記憶と、ボロボロの絵の具セットしか残っていません、、、。
Q2：現在の主な活動内容について教えてください。
Flashを作ったり、イラストやキャラクターを描いたりしています。
Q3：影響を受けた人やリスペクトする方はいらっしゃいますか。
たくさんいますが、デザイン事務所に勤務していたときの先輩方は、本当に魅力的で素晴らしい方たちで、たくさんの刺激を受け、影響を受けました。
Q4： 一日のうちマシーンの前にいる総時間は？
15時間ぐらい。ちょっと依存してるかもしれません。
Q5：モーショントゥイーンとシェイプトゥイーンどちらが好きですか？
どちらもよく使うのでどちらとは選べません。が、シェイプトゥイーンの気まぐれな感じには、時々おだやかな気分でいられなくなるときもあります。

なにもなく終わった夏の終わりのここ一・二週間は、RIP SLYMEを聴いて、ささやかに夏気分、感じてます。

初心、夢、やさしさ、を忘れずに持ち歩けたら良いですね。（狙い過ぎですか）

Q1: Lets begin with your brief background and what lead you to start your current job.
I live in Yokohama but the school i have picked always located far away from it.
I am not sure if this one and half hour of commuting everyday caused it, but my grade have always been bad.
For both middle school and college entrance exam, school of my first choice never picked me so the school of my last choice have always saved my life. Though thinking back of this now, I am who I am now because I didn't get to go to those school of my first choice and able to find some spare time to do all kinds of cool stuff that it worked the best for me after all.
During my college years, I enjoyed wasting my time. It was about music, working at the club, and creating websites. There were many interesting personal websites all over the place and that is when I have launched CBCNET. On my senior year, I took a leave of absence and studied at art school in London for about 3 months. Desire of being a designer was not as strong in me at that time but this is when my interest sifted toward design and art. Then I took a part time job at a design magazine. There weren't many stuff member who speaks english that I was able to meet and make a great connection with designers and artists. Editorial wasn't what I originally intended but since I love talking to people, it was an interesting experience. After about a one and half year of working there, I decided to quit the job and start doing my own thing up till today.
Q2: Tell us about your recent activities.
I center my activity on the design portal site called "CBCNET" and participate on many cool projects.
On May 2005, I've produced a design event called APMT. I also tried on writing, curating, and web service producing to figure out my direction.
Q3：Who have influenced you the most or who do you respect?
I am influenced by pretty much everyone I meet. Habits and senses of each person inspires me.
Q4： How many hours a day do you spend in front of your computer?
weekdays: 50% of the time I am awake.
weekends: 30% of the time I am awake.
Q5：Which one do you like better, Motion Tween or Shape Tween?
Scripting aren't my thing, but I use them as much as I can. Though Im not there yet to say which one is my favorite.
Q6. What is your best song to boost up your moods?
Silence works the best for me to concentrate. But the present scent of the season activate my brain the most.
Q7：What are the 3 things you have to have in your book bag everyday?
A sketchbook, iPod, and a pen holder. I apologize for my unexciting answer...
Q8： If you did not end up being involved in the web businesses, what do you think you would be.
I believe strongly that I do what I do because I live in this era. Cannot think of alternative.
Q9：If you can move abroad today, where would that be and why?
I want to live in several different countries for few months in my 20's.
Countries with different seasons will be the best.
I've always wanted to live in the house like the one in Totoro.
Q10：Tell us about your secret specialty.
Sorry but I cannot think of any....
Q11: For the last question, what do you have planned in near future and what you want to do.
There are many things lined up but most of those projects are still uncertain.
Followings are the projects I am currently working on.
*APMT will take place at least once this year. Planning to expand the size next year.
*Designing a "designer-bycycle". Will be released by the end of the year.
*Involved in producing a new hosting service. Planned to open on November.
*Planning to publish a magazine on March next year.
I like how it is now that I cannot project what comes next and I would like to keep it in the same way for a while.

横浜在住で、中高は目黒、大学は八王子といつも通学に1時間半ぐらいかかっていました。学生時代、成績は基本的に悪く、中学受験も大学も第一志望は落ち、滑り止めにいつも助けられています。でも今考えると第一志望に行けなかったからこそ、いろいろ隙間を見つけることができたので良かったと思っています。
大学では時間を無駄にして楽しんでました。音楽やったり、クラブで働いたり、ウェブやったり。ちょうどその頃は面白い個人サイトがたくさんあった時で、自分でもコツコツ作ってました。その頃CBCNETを立ち上げました。4年のときには休学をし、3ヶ月だけロンドンのアートカレッジへ。デザイナーにはなりたい願望はそれほど強くなかったのですが、とりあえずデザインやアートが好きになり始めたのがこの頃です。
その後某デザイン雑誌でバイトを始めました。英語が話せるスタッフが少なかったので、デザイナーやアーティストと接することが多く、いろんな知り合いができました。1年半ほど働き、去年そこを辞めてから自分のことをコツコツやって今に至ります。
Q2：現在の主な活動内容について教えてください。
CBCNETというデザインポータルサイトを軸としつつ、いろいろ模索している最中です。2005年5月にはAPMTというデザインイベントを開催しました。他には執筆をしたり、キュレーションをしたり、ウェブサービスのプロデュースを手伝ったりと様々な方向性を探ってます。
Q3：影響を受けた人やリスペクトする方はいらっしゃいますか。
ほぼ接する人すべてから影響を受けています。その人のクセや感覚から影響を得たりします。

平日：起きてる時間の5割
休日：起きてる時間の3割

僕はスクリプトとかわからない人なので、どちらも使えるだけ使ってます。まだどちらが好きっていうレベルではないです。

作業で集中するときは無音です。ただもっとも脳が活性化されるのは季節のニオイによってです。

今の時代だから今やっていることをやっている、と強く感じるので、他には想像できません。

20代のうちに、数ヶ月いろんな国に住んでみたいと思っています。季節感がある国がいいです。

今後予定していることはたくさんありますがまだ不確定な部分が多いです。いま取り組んでいるものは以下の通りです。
・APMTは今年中に一回は開催します。来年はすこし規模を大きくします。
・デザイナー自転車を作ってます。今年公開予定。
・新しいホスティングサービスのプロデュースに絡んでいます。11月公開予定。
・来年3月ごろには雑誌を出そうと思っています。
先がまったく想像できない今の状態は心地よいので、今後もフットワーク軽くやっていきたいと思います。

My background
*highschool:
Cutting-edge music video of Toshio Iwai inspired me to do something in the computer graphics field. It was pretty tuff to choose between the art school and the engineering school
for college but my choice was to go Kobe University's department of computer and systems engineering.
*college:1995-
My college years are entirely devoted to organizing club events and doing VJ. The connections I've made through doing VJ gave me couple video related jobs.
Then I couldn't get enough credit to graduate but it did not stop me. Encounter to the websites such as "yugop.com" and "praystation.com"
reminded me that that is what I want to do. By the end of the year, I've got many web and video jobs lined up and barely manage to graduate from the college.
*after graduation:2000-
Wondering around for about a year. Started out from the trip to Holland and went around Europe, launched "wildcard.jp.org", and tried submitting for various design competitions.
I have also made my working connection I have today through the net-surfing around this time such as raku-gaki.com.
*coming to Tokyo:2001-
Moved to Tokyo and worked for a design firm where people from "samohung"、"tarout" and "h808" worked. I joined that firm to get to know those cool people but they all quit right after, so I just followed them. Luckily enough, with the support of many people, I have managed to live as a freelance web designer since then.

I like it both. With these two plus script, I choose the convenient one depending on the case.

Silent is the best for deep concentration.

Wallet, cigarette, and cellphone. I like to keep myself light.

Infrastructures of outputting to the world outside of the web browser using familiar tool to me like Flash have been established that i would like to work more on this field like collaboration with architechts and tv related jobs. Setting “communication”, “inteface” and “interaction” as the core keyword, I would love to try everything that interest me.

・バックグラウンド
・高校時代：
岩井俊雄さんやMTVのCGをつかったミュージッククリップなどを見てぼんやりとそのハイテク感にひかれる。大学進学時に美大に行くべきか、プログラムなどが必要そうなので工学部にいくべきか悩んだすえ神戸大学工学部情報知能工学科といういかにも理系な学科にいく。
・大学時代：1995－
ひたすらクラブイベントのオーガナイズとVJに明け暮れる。VJをしてるうちに知り合った人脈から映像の仕事をちょくちょくする。そしたら留年。心を入れ替えずにイベントオーガナイズと映像仕事をガツガツする。同じ頃にyugop.comとかpraystation.comに出会い「こういうのやりたかったんだ！」と思い出す。しだいに映像仕事とWEB仕事をするようになり、やがてWEBの仕事しかしなくなる。大学はどうにか卒業。
・大学卒業 2000－
オランダを拠点にヨーロッパを放浪したり、wildcard.jp.orgを公開したりコンペに出したり1年ぐらいフラフラする。ネット上もフラフラしていてraku-gaki.comなどなど今よく一緒に仕事してる人達にこのころ出会う。
・上京 2001－
東京にやってきてデザイン事務所にはいる。samohung、tarout、h808の人たちがお目当てで入るがすれ違いでバタバタ辞めていってしまったので連れられて退社。気がつくとなんのつてもないまま東京でフリーランス。周りの人達や仕事に恵まれ今にいたる。

どちらも好きです。この2つに加えてスクリプトでの動きづけも含めてケースバイケースで便利な方法を使っています。

深く集中するときは無音です。

ヨーロッパ。陸続きでいろんな文化が混在していて面白そうだからです。
もしくはバリとかフィジーとか海があってまったりできるところ。

建築家とのコラボレーションや、テレビ周りの仕事などブラウザの中以外でも、Flashなどの自分が表現しやすいツールを使ってアウトプットができるインフラができ始めているので、そのあたりでもがんばっていきたいです。「コミュニケーション」「インターフェイス」「インタラクション」というキーワードを軸にググッとくるプロジェクトには節操無く進んで参加して行きたいと思います。

Okey. Here is my brief background.
*Age 22 Kobe, Japan Graduated from Konan University with a Bachelor of science in Biology.
*Age 23-24 Tianjin and Kunming, China Moved to China to study Chinese.
*Age 25-26 Kobe, Japan Worked in a trading related company.
*Age 27-28 Vancouver, Canada Studied web at Bodwell Internet School.
*Age 29-30 Vancouver, Canada Worked at Thrive Media, created Casino games using Flash.
*Age 31-32 Tokyo, Japan Worked at Bascule. Involved in various websites using Flash.
*Age 33-Now launched “cshool”.
As you can see, there are no consistency what so ever in my background. Well, but I’m still alive and I wear my good-luck underpants everyday to prepare for my chance.

I only understood about half as much English in the interview but with the influence of the internet bubble in United States, I was hired by just nodding to each questions.

My buddy JUN from 9zaku was my classmates there. The reason why I’ve started this, is to be popular from girls, of course. When the site was launched, we were planning to update the Flash samples every three months, but it was impossible when you are enjoying the mild and calm weather in Vancouver. So then, we have created 9zaku mobilesuit to update news and events in the format we have today. However, Tokyo’s busy life take away my to update the site and I don’t think I am doing well here either.

It started out when I came up with the idea of doing something different on my spare time in the weekend. Then I choose futsal and Flash-tutoring program. The president of Basucule was kindly enough to let me use the conference room of the company and that is why I was able to start this class.
Q2: Tell us about your recent activities.
Adding interactive function to graphics (I call it “interactive graphic”) to create its own atmosphere is what I am mainly focusing on. Use of plants and buildings in collage format gives depth when it is given interaction by flash. I am having lots of fun by doing crazy stuffs like making “takoyaki” fly the sky. It seems like I am succeeded establishing my image of craziness but it kinda worries me sometimes thinking where this is taking me to. And then, in between all of these thoughts, I have started playing around with 3D graphics. Of course, people around me tells me not to and I also understand it is just not cool to start 3D at this age. But, I am not gonna give up. I’m making a Taxi today. There is this weird wrinkle on it but I don't know what to do…. Damn it…
Q3：Who have influenced you the most or who do you respect?
1. I am running the school program called “Cshool”.

So far, I teach Action Script writing for Flash mainly, but hoping this class to be a place where I can give my students a good inspiration of making cool things and not just a technique. Cshool is a school, but it is only run by me (plus 2 other friends of mine) that we will go anywhere you ask.

2.9zaku has been keep running since I was in Canada. I mainly takes care of the back-end part like news update with data base. And Jun does web site development on the designer point of view. We have this contents idea which incorporates Flash and data base system to let everyone join the site, but I don't know…. (hopefully)
I write news as “es” there but I cannot call it “frequent”.
3. couple Flash creators and I will get together maybe next year and start up the unit calles Shogun（小群）. I am hoping to develop games of our own with this unit.
Q4： How many hours a day do you spend in front of your computer?

Q5：Which one do you like better, Motion Tween or Shape Tween?
Shape tween: Diva, Madonna
Motion tween: My neighbor Miyochan.
I love Shape Tween but it is like something no matter how hard I try, I can never be able to reach.
Motion Tween is not as gorgeous as Madonna, but someone who is always besides me and I LOVE the both. BUT I will be BIG some day and make Shape tween fall in love with me.
Q6. What is your best song to boost up your moods?
Cupie’s 3 minitues cooking song.
It makes me feel like I am in hurry.
Q7：What are the 3 things you have to have in your book bag everyday?
+BIG lettering map. Easy to read Tokyo: I carry this map of Tokyo in case of trouble for 3 years.
+UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON CONDOM：In case of a “special event”, I carry this with me for 2 years.
+Pocket tissue: In case of myself getting sick at some point, I have this in my sidepocket all the time for about a half year. (to wipe my nose. Just to be making sure…..)
Q8： If you did not end up being involved in the web businesses, what do you think you would be.
I would have been a good husband.
I will take a special care of my family. And have a dog.
Q9：If you can move abroad today, where would that be and why?
(Asia, US, Europ, South America, Mid east, Africa, I don't wanna go anywhere!!)
But I would say, Shanghai, China.
When I was studying in china, I thought it would be nice to work there. But I had no experience and technique at that time and was not be able to. Someday, I hope I can make this work. I haven’t speak Chinese for a long time so it will be nice to go back there and learn Chinese again.

Q10：Tell us about your secret specialty.
I WAS able to do football lifting for about 400 times. (not any more for sure….100 tops for now. )
Q11: For the last question, what do you have planned in near future and what you want to do.
1. As a part of Cshool lecture, there is this class I do at the Komyoji Temple called Terakoya School. The second lesson will be taken place on the Friday, Oct.21 and we will be making the logo of the temple.
A design company called EDP makes the logo of the place . They will come to talk about the process of creating the logo with the people from the temple. And I will explain how to put that logo as a waiting screen on your cell phone.
It will be a unique collaboration in between traditional temple and modern technology. So if you are interested, please come join us and those members of this project will also be there to help the class.

2. I would like to do more advanced special lectures for Game and RSS reader designing since I have good amount of sample build up with other basic courses by now. Or the class which you just think about making something fun and no technical lecture will be nice. Then the first lesson will be making Taketombo(the bamboo airplane). But besides all this, I guess it is more important for me to brush up the Cshool website…
3. well, I don't think this is realistic but I have this dream where I carry about
10 computers in the ban and have a “moving classroom” all over Japan. If this happens for real, I will open up a class room on places like temples and parks. And then, I will have it live broadcast on air with Flash Communiction Server.
4.As for activities as 9zaku, having an event like cbc-net Kurita- kun’s apmt will be great. Or, I am actually more interested to have an event WITH cbc net. Both Cshool and 9zaku offers people with the place to get together as its concept in common. My goal so far is to offer a space that everyone can come stop freely to communicate with each others.

学校を卒業する頃にはお金がなくなったので、日本に帰る前にとりあえず現地で就職活動しようということで始めました。

9zakuの相方JUNくんとは同じ学校でした。始めたのはもちろんモテたかったからです。
始めた当初はFlashのサンプルを作って3ヶ月に一度更新しようということにしていたのですが、
バンクーバーののどかな気候を満喫していたのでそれはとても無理でした。
ということで今の形式のニュースを載せるサイト9zaku mobilesuitsを制作しました。
今では東京のあわただしい生活を満喫していて更新がおぼつかないです。

最初はバスキュール勤務時代に週末が少しだらけていたので何か仕事以外のことをしようと考えました。
ひとつはフットサル、もうひとつはFlash講座です。
で、バスキュールの社長に相談すると会議室を貸してくれるということをで講座を始めました。

ここでは主にFlashのアクションスクリプトを教えていますが、技術だけでなく何か面白いことを作るヒントを与える場所に
なればなあと常々悶々としています。
クスールはスクールといいながら今のところ僕個人（とその他友人2人）でしているものなので決まった場所に学校という大きな建物があるわけではないです。ということで呼ばれればどこにでも飛んでいきます。どんな講座でもします。
以下が今年している講座です。

Flashアクションスクリプトをほとんど触ったことがない人向けです。
・お稽古クスール with 原宿アプトプランニング
Flashアクションスクリプトでインタラクティブメニューなどを制作します。

・寺子屋クスール with 光明寺
光明寺というお寺でお寺の素材を使用した制作の説明をします。

小学生にFlashアニメーションを教えます。
・琉球クスール with I.T.E.P
沖縄の人にFlashゲーム、RSSリーダ作成などを教えます。
あともちろんFlash制作もしています。たまにバリバリやってます。

9月17日から公開する映画「忍」のオフィシャルサイト上にあるコンテンツです。
Flash Communication Serverを使用したマルチユーザゲームです。
制作はほとんどしませんでしたが、ゲーム設計部分に少し携わりました。
2.9zakuはもちろんカナダにいたときからずっと続けています。
僕はニュース更新部分などデータベースがらみのバックエンドを主に制作して
相方のJUNくんは見た目部分のサイト構築などを手がけています。
近々Flashとデータベースを使ったみんなが参加できるコンテンツを作ろうと考えています、一応（希望）。
ニュース更新は、、すみません、最近めっきり更新回数が減りました。
なぜかというと最近太ってきたからだと思います。多分。
ちなみに僕はesという名前でニュースを書いています。
3.あとは来年あたりにフリーのFlash製作者を何人か集めて、ユニットを作る予定です。
ショーグン（小群）という名前のユニットです。
独自開発のゲームなども来年には公開できればなあという感じです。
Q3：影響を受けた人やリスペクトする方はいらっしゃいますか。
中村俊輔：試合後のインタビューのときに妙によそよそしいのがいいです。
Q4： 一日のうちマシーンの前にいる総時間は？
パターン１：
10:00 起床
11:00 - 3:00 仕事

Q5：モーショントゥイーンとシェイプトゥイーンどちらが好きですか？
シェイプトゥイーン:憧れのマドンナ
モーショントゥイーン:近所のみよちゃん
という感じでしょうか。シェイプトゥイーンはすごく好きだけど手の届かない高嶺の花。
モーショントゥイーンはマドンナほどきれいではないけど、いつもいる身近な存在。
ということでどちらも好きです。でも僕もいつかはビックになってシェイプトゥイーンを振り向かせます。
Q6：気分を高めてくれるこの1曲は何ですか？
キューピー3分間クッキングの曲ですね。妙に焦ります。
Q7：いつもカバンに入れて持ち歩いているものを３つ上げるとしたら？
でか字まっぷ みやすい東京23区：いざというときのために３年前から持ち歩いています。

ポケットティッシュ：いざというときのために半年前からサイドポケットにいれてます。（いっときますが鼻かみ用です。）
Q8： Webに関わっていなかったら、何をやってたと思いますか？
うーん、いいお婿さんになっていたと思います。
家庭を大切にします。犬も飼います。
Q9：今から海外で生活するとすればどの地域（国）にいきたいですか？またなぜですか？
（アジア、北米、ヨーロッパ、南米、中東、アフリカ、どこにもいきたくない)
中国上海です。
以前中国に留学していたときに一度中国で働いてみたいと思っていました。
そのときは技術も経験もなかったので結局働くことができませんでした。
いつかはその思いを実現させたいですね。中国語も長い間話していないので
もう一度現地で習得したいです。

Q10：実は人には公表していない特技を一つ教えてください。
リフティング400回くらいできました。（今は多分100回くらい。）
Q11:今後予定されている活動ややりたいことを教えてください。
1.クスールの講座の一環で、光明寺というお寺で行う寺子屋クスールという講座があります。
その第2回が10月21日（金）に行われます。今回は「お寺のロゴを作ってみる？」ということで、
会場となる場所のロゴをEDPという制作会社にお願いして作ってもらいました。作成するにあたってのコンセプトやどのようにしてできたかをお寺のお坊さんと一緒に話してもらいます。また僕のほうではそのロゴを携帯の待ちうけにする作業を説明します。
休憩時間にお坊さんがつくったお菓子を食べたり、境内で東京タワーを眺めたりと、お寺と技術のちょっとかわった融合をやってますので興味のあるかたぜひ参加ください。このプロジェクトのみなさんも一応参加してくれる予定です。

2.あとは今年はいろんなところで講座をやってきてサンプルも結構たまってきたので、来年あたりからゲームやRSSリーダなど、実践的なものを作る特別講座をやっていきたいですね。また技術だけでなく楽しいことをひたすら考えるだけの講座もやってみたいです。第1回は竹とんぼを作ってみるとかね。でもとりあえずこれらの講座告知用にサイトをきっちり作るのが最優先事項な気もしますが。
3.あとこれは実現がちょっと難しい夢なんですけど、コンピュータを10台ほど車に積み込んで全国を教えてまわる講座をしたいです。
お寺や公民館もしくは公園などの場所でコンピュータを広げて講座をします。で、Flash Communicatin Serverでライブ放送します。今どこをまわっているとかブログで公開したりするとかなり面白くなりそうです。
4.9zakuの活動としてはcbc netのクリタくんが今年していたapmtというイベントみたいなのをぜひしてみたいですね。
というかcbc netと一緒にイベントしたいです。クスールも9zakuも人が集まるというところでは共通しているので、
それらをまとめてみんなが気軽に立ち寄って交流できる場所を提供できれば最高ですね。

Q1: Lets begin with your brief background and what lead you to start your current job.
*I was born in 1976
*Graduated from Kurashiki Univ. of Science and the Arts with degree in Glass technical art in 2001
*Started freelancing since 2001
*Opened RAKU-GAKI.COM in 2002
*Doing design in my own speed since then.
My college major was in Glass technical art. But for some reason, I was able to graduate with my senior project in web designing using school computers. Since I’ve got into this and occupied one corner of the school entirely to complete the project for about a whole year, people even rumored that I was living there with my pet. Seriously, I was living in between school, laundry and family restaurants.
Then, since almost no one around me seemed to be making any action to be employed upon graduation, I did the same. There wasn’t any choice for me but to be a “freelance” designer after graduation (meaning I had almost no job and barely able to live!) and end up being dumped by my girlfriend and that was just terrible.
My-heartbroken-self spent that whole year looking at crazy amount of well designed websites and graphics. I have gotten really into collaging and then incorporated this with flash and experimented with it in actual website design. You can view these work in (http:// stooped.jp/ (year:2002)) and (http://kenkichi.org/(year 2001)). This is where I was beginning to figure out what my style really is. Then, opening of the site called Raku-Gaki.com lead me to different kinds of jobs one after another and gives me enough money to eat everyday up until today.

I respect this old man I know. He drinks cup of green tea sitting at the deck of the house. Even though he looks like an weak old man, he is filled with energy and thought inside. That is my ideal figure of a man.
Q4： How many hours a day do you spend in front of your computer?
Well, except when I am sleeping, I spend all my day in front of the computer. Since people doesn't allow me to sleep these days, it feels like I am there all day long and I am living in the virtual world. My computer monitor must have gotten tired of looking at my face. So do I. Our relationship hasn’t been working out well but I will try to show more love to him.
Q5：Which one do you like better, Motion Tween or Shape Tween?
I love the both. I don't discriminate things in such matters. I will keep using both as much as I can. I am not gonna let flash to be stuck in the script world.
Q6. What is your best song to boost up your moods?
"Sad-dharma-pundarika-sutra" It is the buddhist player which is I am sure you have seen it somewhere that crazy numbers of monks read at loud together. I guess people see me listening to this believes I'm insane but I am in the highest stage of concentration at the moment. Feels like I can keep going. I just gotta be careful not to pass out... By the way, my family is
from Shingonshu Buddhism background so i have nothing to do with "Sad- dharma-pundarika-sutra" .. oops.
Q7：What are the 3 things you have to have in your book bag everyday?
HARDDISK: I travel in between my office and apartment everyday. So that I need my hard disk in order to share my data in between both environment. Most of my data is in here. I don’t know what to do if I lost this.
BUSINESS CARDS: Just for incase, I carry this with me. But when I really need it, my case is filled up with other people’s exchanged cards and none of mine is in, which upsets me a lot whenever it happens.
That is all I have. I don't usually like to stuff my bag.
Q8： If you did not end up being involved in the web businesses, what do you think you would be.
In my case, I would be helping my father. My father’s dream was to expand his company but I think I have ruined it and it makes me feel bad sometimes thinking about this. But at the same time, doing what you want is the best thing for each other so I guess it is okey. I will just keep doing my thing.
Q9：If you can move abroad today, where would that be and why?
I would love to pull optical fiber cable in Tahiti and take things easy. Yah. It is an escape. It is an illusion.
Opening up a bar or takoyaki store in Thailand or HongKong and creating website in the back will also be fun. Place like Kowloon castle is idal.
Q10：Tell us about your secret specialty.
I can do mimicry of Umechin of Yonsca.
Q11: For the last question, what do you have planned in near future and what you want to do.
I have been felling the lack of the skill and over capacity of work recently . So that I am studying really hard to cover this up but it is all really complicated and confusing. Once I settle things down more, I will take it to another step. For now, it is pretty messed up and not making any sense to me but I will take it slow and after one- two years, I will sharpen my skill and creativity to show you something very cool.

大学ではガラス工芸を専攻してました。まぁ、色々ありまして、ガラス工芸を専攻してるのに学校のパソコン使ってサイト制作で卒業してしまいました。１年ぐらい学校の片隅を占領し、ベットを持ち込んで住んでたとか、住んでないとか。コインランドリーとファミレスとの日々でした。
さらに就職活動を周りの人がほとんど誰もしてなかたので、自分もしないでいいんだと勝手に勘違いをし、そのままフリーランスに。１年目はほとんど仕事も無く、生活するのがやっとでした。付きあってた子にも愛想を尽かされ、傷心。しかし、この１年でWEBやグラフィックを見まくり、コラージュに目覚め、flashとコラージュを組み合わせたサイト制作を始める。近所の美容院のサイト（http://stooped.jp/ 2002年）や当時近所の大学で助手をしていた兼吉のサイト（http://kenkichi.org/ 2001年）を作成し、何となく自分のスタイルが形になる。傷心のさなか、その辺ひっくるめて色々準備していたRAKU-GAKI.COM（http://raku-gaki.com/ 2002年）を公開。何となく仕事に繋がって行き、生活出来るようになる。そうこうしている内に現在に至る。
Q2：現在の主な活動内容について教えてください。
グラフィックにインタラクティブ性を持たせて（本人はインタラクティブグラフィックと呼んでいる）世界観を作る事に終始しています。コラージュで植物やら建物やらを使い、flashで奥行きのある世界を構築しています。最近はでっかい「たこ焼き」を飛ばしたりして、だいぶオバカなイメージが定着しつつあります。メッセンジャーのアイコンも「の●太」になりました。このまま行くとどうなってしまうんだろうと、不安で仕方ありません。
しかし、そんな最中、最近はみんなの反対にまみれつつ3Dを始めたりしています。この歳で3D始めるとか、かなりイケテマセン。もっと他にもやる事があるだろうと言われます。でも負けません。今日は必死にタクシーを作っています。何か変なシワが出来てしまい取れません。むむむ。。
Q3：影響を受けた人やリスペクトする方はいらっしゃいますか。
とあるおじいちゃんを尊敬しています。縁側に座ってお茶をすすっています。でも、隙はありません。人生はかくの如くと言わんばかりです。
Q4： 一日のうちマシーンの前にいる総時間は？
寝てる時以外は大体居ます。終始バーチャルです。最近はあまり寝させてもらえないので、ずっと居る感じです。多分モニターは僕の顔に飽き飽きなんじゃないかと思います。僕もそろそろ飽き飽きです。かなり険悪な雰囲気です。もう少し愛情を持とうと思います。
Q5：モーショントゥイーンとシェイプトゥイーンどちらが好きですか？
どちらもこよなく愛しています。そんなところで差別をしたりしません。これからも両方使いまくろうと思います。flashをスクリプトだけの世界にはさせません。
Q6：気分を高めてくれるこの1曲は何ですか？
妙法蓮華経。すんごい数のお坊さん方が一斉に読経したりする、あのお経です。はたからそれを聞いてる僕の姿を見ると、きっと頭がおかしい感じですが、本人は至って集中力抜群の状態になっております。突き進んでいく感じです。そのまま昇天しないように気をつけなくてはいけません。ちなみに家の家系は真言宗らしいので、妙法蓮華経は全く関係なかったりします。。。すいません。
Q7：いつもカバンに入れて持ち歩いているものを３つ上げるとしたら？
ハードディスク：事務所と家を行き来しています。事務所でも家でも作業してるのでデータを共有させる為にハードディスクを持ち歩いています。大体のデータがここに入っています。これが無いと何も出来ずに途方に暮れてしまいます。
名刺：一応持ち歩いています。ですが、いざ交換しようとすると名刺入れの中身に自分のが無くて、人様の名刺だけになっています。またやってしまったと凹みます。
後は何も入ってません。割と空っぽです。大きいの背負ってますが見せかけだけです。
ホントは手ぶらをこよなく愛しています。
Q8： Webに関わっていなかったら、何をやってたと思いますか？
父親の手伝いをしていたのではないかと思います。父は会社を大きくする事が夢だったようで、父の夢を僕は途絶えさせてしまったんだなぁと思うことがあります。昔は父への反発もかなりあり、色々悶々としてましたが、最近はとても感謝しています。「ありがと。おとん。」。だから継がなかった事を少々気に病んだりする事もあります。でも、まぁ、お互いやりたい事をやるのが一番だと思ってます。継がなかった事を納得してもらえるよう頑張っていきたいと思います。
Q9：今から海外で生活するとすればどの地域（国）にいきたいですか？またなぜですか？
タヒチに光ケーブルを引いて水上コテージで作業したり、のんびりしたいです。
ええ、逃避です。ただの幻想です。
もしくは、タイとか台湾とか香港とかで表向きはたこ焼きを売るか、飲み屋をするかして、店の奥の方でサイトでも作っていたいです。九龍城の様な場所が理想です。国籍不明。消息不明。な感じが素敵です。

実は梅ちん(ヨンスキャ）の物真似が出来ます。
「もう、いいんっすよ。」「眠いんっすよ。」「めんどくさいんっすよ。」などなど。
Q11:今後予定されている活動ややりたいことを教えてください。
最近は全体的にスキル不足やキャパオーバーを痛感しているので、色々勉強しまくっています。初めての事だらけで、かなりわけの分からない事になっていますが、もう少し色々整って土台が出来てきたら、新しい感覚を形にして行きたいと思っています。今はその分、作るものにチグハグさが漂っていて、悶々とした日々なのですが、自分の中で新しく始めた事を来年・再来年とじっくり手に馴染ませて、感覚とスキルと色々を洗練させて行きたいと思っています。がんばります。
